It's back! With the goal of bringing a little cheer to patients in the hospital during the holiday season, the deviantART Holiday Card Project connects deviants from around the world and applies their tremendous artistic abilities in designing and creating uplifting holiday cards.
In past years, the Project has received more than 5,000 cards sent in by more than 1,000 deviants from 50 different countries/political regions. Cards were then divvied up and distributed in-person by deviantART members to local Los Angeles, CA hospitals, with additional cards given to various hospitals in the U.S. and abroad for hospital staff members to hand out

Recently, I have recently gotten comments and question form some longtime friends and associates.
One was in reference to the fact that was my wife's job to motivate me (while she was standing next to me at that) to which I responded that she does and the subject was quickly dropped. The second being I thought you had given up on putting out the next volumes of your sketchbook (paraphrased but it captures the essence) to which the response was nope been steadily working on it. What an interesting situation at RocCon PA this past weekend. It was truly the Con before the Storm, Sandy definitely made her presence felt. As she steadily made her way up the East Coast the spectre of bad weather mad an impact. While there were brave vendors and attendees the volume definitely took a hit. Alicia did an excellent job keeping everything going and still pulling off a good show. I tried to maximize my time there. I meet some really cool people and fellow creators.
